With a lifelong passion for painting, Linda Stockman creates detailed realistic portraits of animals and birds, conveying both their image and essence. Working primarily in oil and acrylic paints, she has created a body of work that exhibits the beauty of the animals in their natural habitats. A New Jersey native now residing in
northeastern Pennsylvania, Linda studied art with several well known artists including famed illustrator Peter Caras at the duCret School of Art in Plainfield, NJ. She has won numerous awards in juried exhibitions in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and has exhibited her work at several solo exhibitions.

The exhibition runs from September 1 to November 27, 2017 at the Wayrick Wildlife Art Gallery. Entry is free.

Gallery hours: Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9 to 5, Sundays noon to 5 and is closed on Mondays.
